The Great Pistachio Bake Off takes off…

Today at Pistachio Design, we are in the midst of holding a charity bake-off at HQ in Marlow to raise money for Stand up to Cancer, a cause very close to all of our hearts and a great way to way to round off a very British weekend of Royal Wedding celebrations!

Amongst the Pistachio team we are very lucky to have a wide range of bakers, from the complete novices, to the, erm ‘innovators’ and the darn right perfectionists who would give Queen Mary Berry herself a run for her money. But above all, we have many experienced cake eaters, not just on the Pistachio team, but also in the Spaces Marlow building, who have been providing a steady stream of willing participants to help taste, judge and devour all of our yummy offerings.

But this isn’t just to give everyone a very sugary start to the week, this is also to raise so we encourage everyone to keep tasting, but to also keep donating!

To give readers a taste of the kind of delicious delights the team have cooked up today (all by our own fair hands no less) take a look at some of our scrumptious concoctions below. The team all put in a sterling effort, giving up their time to ensure that the bake-off counter is fully stocked for the entire day…and thus far everyone has been very generous with their critiques…and their donations…!

How much did we raise…?

Well, we’re still in full flight with making sure Spaces Marlow is well fed with sugary delights, and the donation tin is getting heavier by the second, so we’ll keep you posted with the final tally when we know!

100% of the dough we raise will go towards funding life-saving cancer research. Every last crumb!
